I thought making the pictures black and white made it look even more interesting. To me, it gives it an even more deserted look. (I really like them this way...)

Halie: Your black and white pictures present a stark illustration of some of the problems caused by "progress". Too many times progress steamrolls good people and honest businesses trying desperately to stay alive. It is sad to look down that street as it is today and think about the activity and vitality that used to be part of its everyday life. Great work! JLP
